Bad Lands of South Dakota
Our day began in Wall South Dakota. Nifty little town, touristy, but full of the old west. They tout a huge RX (Wall Drug) that takes up a city block. As you can see we are garbed for rain-cloudy skies and it was cold all day. However, we managed to steer clear of the bad weather. We had 5 cent coffee. Where else could you get coffee that cheap?? Lots of fun-then headed to the Badlands. It was impressive, probably would have been more so had we not already seen so many fabulous rock formations. I do however love the Navajo Rock-the rust colores looks like it has been painted on. It is very unique. We traveled the 50 miles around the park and headed to Yankdon SD. We celebrated our final day of sight seeing with our friends Bev and Bob. Great finish to a wonderful day. We are traveling home for the next two days. It is hard to believe that the trip is almost over. We have had an unbelievable three weeks, memories with our friends that will stay with us forever. This country is magnificent. God's power and beauty are unmatched. We were able to experience a small sample of what his hands have created. Thank you for your prayers, comments and sharing our journey with us. We love you all and can't wait to see everyone.

I have to say I LOVED the photo of Philip on the horse and Becky in the wagon! You two have certainly embraced the western life! ;-). It has been fun to share your ride with you! It makes me want to take the same trip (in a car with a roof and heater, of course)! Can't wait to see the rest of your pictures! Safe ride home! Love, Beth
