Bryce Canyon here we come.

Headed for Bryce Canyon not knowing what to expect. It was suggested to take a 3 mile hike down  the canyon, over 600 feet down, around and then back up where we collapsed. Becky has concluded this day to be her favorite site along with Mesa Verde. The beauty in the canyon was breath taking, the rock formations reminded us all of chess pieces. We hiked through many very steep switchbacks, and  holes in the rocks. The trek back up 600 feet about killed us. The last 100 ft. was very slow moving with many stops to rest. By 2 it was over 100 degrees so we headed out and are now in Fillmore Utah. Thanks again friends and family for following along. We love your comments. Tomorrow plans haven't been finalized. Miss you all.

  5. I'm with Becky, it looks to be one of the most beautiful sites we have seen. I am so impressed with all of your hiking, 6 miles up and down! And to think I thought Old Man's Cave was a lot of climbing last year. :). I love how you are having the two of you in a picture at the beginning of each park. Take care and be safe, and cool! Love you. Kathy
