Columbia Gorge Historic HIghway
We left Bend Ore. with the weather cold and over cast. By the time we get to Mt. Hood it's cold and snowing. I was ready to call it a day, start over tomorrow, but out here in the west you don't always get your way. First, guess what? No motels on the mountains, Second we were lucky to find a store for shelter to wait out the rain and snow and to warm up. An hour later the weather was beautiful. Go figure. So off to the beautiful Columbia Gorge Highway. Magnificent beauty and waterfalls. Once again pictures are not enough. Oregon truly is a beautiful state. Green, lush, cold, and wet. The waterfalls are some of the most spectacular we've ever seen. I hope you check out the video's we send. Off to a new adventure tomorrow. Hope we stay dry all day. Keep us in your prayers. By the way we did not get to see Mt. Hood due to the rain and fog.
