Route 66 part Two Day Four

We woke up this morning at 4:30 because of the thunder and lighting. We had not planned on another rainy day but we all know that it happens here in the Midwest so we dressed for rain. It was raining so hard at the start time that we decided to stay back and catch up with the group further down the road. As it turns out we saw things the group didn't.  The Rally Master past up a couple of places on the route due to the rain, waiting allowed us to see them. We are now in Oklahoma City with one more night in Oklahoma. We saw much more of the original road compared to our trip in 2012 so here a some pictures of the day.

1926 Bridge
Original road if you look close you will see that it is only 9 feet wide

The traffic was so bad they built a underpass under the road so people could get to town

If you are ever there look us up
