Day three started at the South entrance of Skyline Drive and the North entrance of the Blue Ridge Parkway. We have pictures of our government in action with the closure of Skyline drive. It was a cold beginning to the day with temperatures in the 40's and when we ended the day it was in the 60's. We are in Hillsville Va. eight miles from the Blue Ridge Parkway. We saw seven deer and even got a picture of two of them. The scenery was beautiful but we are a couple weeks early on the leaves changing colors.
