Blue Ridge Parkway Last Day

We started out today with cold temps and rain. The weather forecast had been clear sky's for the whole week. It is amazing how bad the weather people are at their jobs. Due to the government shut down we were not able to visit any of the visitors centers. They took the time to barricade the entrance to all centers and  all gifts shops. Thanks Mr. Obama. Since we could not spend time at these places we finished the parkway faster than we planned. Therefore we are in Kentucky and will be going to Cumberland falls tomorrow.
