Lanesville, Southern Indiana.

On a motorcycle trip to Corydon Indiana last weekend we went via Lanesville Indiana and pasted a couple of interesting places. Since it is a short ride I decided to go back and get a few pictures of a couple of landmarks that I found interesting. The first landmark is a barn painted as an advertisement for Mail Pouch chewing tobacco. I believe it was one of the last done. It was painted in August 1993. If any one knows of one painted after that I would like to know about it. As a kid growing up in Kentucky I have seen lots of barns painted like this one and a bunch painted advertising Rock City. Haven't seen Rock City yet, guess I'll put that place on my bucket list.

A hundred yards down the road another landmark caught my attention. Stopped and talked a few minutes with a lady working at the Hog's Tavern.
