We are in Valdosta Ga. trying to out run the rain. Today I was the one that thought we would dodge the rain bullet. Didn't happen. I got soaked as the sky opened up shortly after we started out. John was smart enough to put on his rain gear. We did not take any pictures today as we just out running the rain. Tomorrow looks as bad as today so I'm sure we will have to contend with the rain again. So the pictures were from previous days.

Key West day five
Key West is really a great place to visit this time of year. We were there in one of the down weeks when the strange people were somewhere else. Lots of people and families where there and it sure seemed crowded to us. The locals are the ones that said the crowds were down.
We have been running from the wild weather as again it seems to be chasing us. We are in north Palm Beach where we meet up with Dr. Bob. We spent the afternoon on a sight seeing tour of Palm Beach.

Key West we're here
Arrived in Key West today about noon. Was not impressed with the trip down except for the seven mile bridge that is in between the Gulf and Atlantic. Key West however is unbelievable, we didn't expect the crowds even tho all the locals we talked to said the place was dead. We had to wait in line for 30 mins. to take the picture of the Southern most point. It is like Bardstown Road in Louisville times ten. Should have more pictures tomorrow as we highlight the crowds. Have a slow internet so will post more pictures tomorrow.

Key West Day Four
This is the first Easter in a very long time that I did not go to church. I feel bad about that and hope he forgives me.
We had a very nice riding day. No rain and eighty degrees. We stopped at the Everglades National Park, because of so much rain only a small portion of the walking tours were open. We saw lots of dead alligators on the Tamaimi Trail US 41. We are now in Florida City heading for Key West tomorrow. Not a lot of pictures today but tomorrow should be better. Out running the weather has been quite a feat.

Key West day Three
This turned out to be a travel day as we tried to out run Thunder storms and heavy rain. We almost made it as we had less than a mile to go the motel and the sky opened up. John got soaked because he left his rain jacket in the tour pack thinking we could make it to the motel. They call Florida the sunshine state but we haven't seen the sun yet. We traveled the back roads through Ga. and Florida and could not believe how light the traffic. The pictures below where taken at the State Line and as you can see, very few cars or trucks.
That was wonderful!
We are in Brooksville Florida.

Key West day Two
We had a great day today. Started out a little chilly but it warmed up nicely by mid morning We are in Milledgeville Ga. about mid way through the state. Looks like we will have to ride in the rain tomorrow with no way to go around it. Should be in the northern part of Florida by tomorrow night . Check back to see. Not a lot of pictures today because we have seen the mountains of Tenn. before.

Spring Break Key West Trip
Starting a new post train of my trip to the Florida Keys. Becky has chosen not to go this time due to a trip she took to Texas and just returned. I'm not wimping out by not riding the whole way there. Since I have a limited amount of time I need every day. Tomorrow the weather is supposed to be very stormy with thunder storms, hail and even the possibility of a tornado. Therefore I will haul the Harley to Knoxville where I will meet up with my brother in law, John. We will ride to the Keys from his house rain or shine.
